BirdCurve: power price forecasts
Forward price curves to 2050 at 15-minute resolution, for day-ahead, intraday, imbalance, aFRR and FCR. Low, Central and High scenarios give every revenue assumption in a business case the same consistent basis.
BESSview: battery sizing and revenue simulation
A web platform for sizing, simulating and backtesting standalone and co-located BESS, including behind-the-meter sites with solar, wind and on-site consumption. The output is IRR, NPV and a year-by-year cashflow, so sizes and scenarios compare on the same footing.
BirdFlow: grid congestion analysis
Hourly power flows on the full Dutch transmission grid, from 110 to 380 kV, turned into the available MW for offtake and feed-in at a connection point. It shows how often and how deeply a TDTR or VVTR connection will be restricted, now and in future grid years.
Benchmarking: optimizer performance
For operating batteries: what the party trading your battery delivered, against what it could have earned on the same days and the same grid connection. Fully documented, so it can back a route-to-market contract.
Studies and training
Sizing and revenue studies, datacenter and industrial grid connection studies, and Elia EDS analysis for Belgian sites. The grid congestion masterclass is a full day on TDTR, VVTR and non-firm connections.
What makes Birdview Energy different
Our own models
BirdCurve, BESSview and BirdFlow are built and maintained in house, so a model can be extended when a project raises a question it does not cover yet.
Five markets in one dispatch problem
Day-ahead, intraday, imbalance, aFRR and FCR are cross-optimized together, not summed from separate runs. The rolling-horizon optimizer sees about three days ahead and captures 85 to 95% of the perfect-foresight ceiling.
15-minute curves, scored in EUR/MWh
BirdCurve runs at 15-minute resolution from 2018 to 2050. It is scored on a held-out period and the error is reported in EUR/MWh.
Grid restrictions by the hour
BirdFlow reports restricted-hour counts, restriction depth and energy shortfall separately, so a partial restriction does not disappear into an annual average.
Public prices and a free tier
BESSview prices are on the site, with fixed terms of one or six months. The Explore tier is free, so you can test the model before you pay for it.

Not tied to any product or manufacturer, so the advice follows the numbers.
